i'm a trini and I'm proud to read the wonderful comments and description of our country that is such a paradise. it's pure and natural in wildlife, flora and fauna. yes it beats any beach resort if you're a nature person and love history.
someone mentioned gear being stolen, i will be honest if you visit be careful as you would in any other country. we do have some dishonest persons among us but you email me and i will give you some tips as to being safe. however we love to entertain our visitors so consider coming to our beautiful isles.

I realize this article is a few years old but... Amazing explanation of aperature, iso and shutter speed. Thanks so much for this!
I really like the "pane of glass" comparison for aperture.

Thanks. Like a previous poster I recently got a Canon S95 and was wondering about this after playing with full manual mode. With all my previous cameras I just used full Auto :) I love messing with the f-stop and playing with depth of field. I'm going to play with the camera's aperture priority mode tomorrow!

Thanks for a great tutorial. If you could make the Lightroom preset available for download that would be awesome!

This is one of the best visual/literal interviews I've seen yet. I've incorporated some into a visual project to spread the word about conflict areas in my small school community in South Africa. Inspiring work to say the least, Alex.
