We'll be waiting for a while though as the XSi which was "announced" several months ago still isn't out. So, when they finally announce the 5D Marc II, we may have to sit on pins and needles for a while! At least the new iPhone is out in only 1 month! Is it because of your recent 5D purchase? I like to use my cropped frame Canon body (XTi) for the zoom lens and the 5D for my wide-angle, that way, no changing lenses all the time... A buddy let me borrow a huge kit of nikon lenses to play with and he needs them back soon (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rgmiami/1428364783). The D300 is an amazing camera, the 14-bit color is awesome and I've actually kept it longer than anticipated because its such a nice camera... but its time I get back to my canon roots.
