A Little Spring Cleaning for CameraPorn

You may have noticed CameraPorn is looking a little different. Been a long time coming, but some spring cleaning was in order for us. I’ve redesigned the entire theme to be a bit easier on the eyes and I hope you guys like it! A couple of my favorite features: Header texture taken directly from the Canon 1Ds Mk III along with ’subscribe’ button in that style as well, the new ‘get social’ area in the sidebar…. Feel free to friend us on any of those links, AND what I hope to be a general improvement in overall readability and usability. It’s still new so there could be soe bugs here and there. If you see anything weird, or have any comments at all, let us know!!!

Well I liked the old theme a lot, but this pretty awesome. Very clean, but it still has some punch to it. It looks like you’re using a modified K2 theme (according to the bottom)? Heavily modified is an understatement. :-)

haha. ya… k2 is a great base theme to start with :)

Also upgraded to wp 2.5. Havent tested in IE at all yet… that should be fun :)

    Thanks for the kind words!

It always seems that people are nervous when they change their theme, I know nothing of that anxiety, if anything I need to stop changing themes so much. lol.

Great new theme, I was fond of the old one, but this one has a few user ability tweaks I like. :)

Is there a way to add an edit feature to our posts? Even if only for a limited time for corrections?

Also, glad you made the text in the reply fields bigger. That helps a lot.

As for the theme, it looks nice. Good job guys!

    Thanks again guys!

@Rex there are plugins that do that, and I’ll look into it, but I’ve found in blogging, the best bet is to use as few plugins as possible as they are generally the cause of the most server headaches.

We (meaning me) will just have to do some proofing before posting!

Really nice theme – never saw the last one, will have a look at wayback some time, but this skin is smart, effective an promotes the content well. Great decision to run with it!!!!

One of the best looking themes I’ve ever seen. The perfect combination of usability, readability, and function. Great job!
