Flickr Goes Multi-Lingual

According to the wonderful folks at TechCrunch, Flickr has gone multi-lingual and now supports French, German, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Traditional Chinese.

Read about it on TechCrunch or on the Flickr Blog

TechCrunch also mentions that Video uploading will be coming soon…not sure how I feel about that one, but I’m sure Flickr will do it up right!

What makes you so sure Flickr will do it right? They really messed up the localization by censoring the huge German audience on Flickr and not replying very well to the concerns voiced.

A week ago I would have shared your optimism - being the Flickr fan boy that I still am. But seeing what Yahoo is making out of Flickr at the moment saddens me to no end.
