Canon releases new S5 IS and SD850 ELPH P&S Cameras

According to this release, Canon has released two new point and shoots, the S5 IS and SD850 ELPH, with some incredible features.

Although we usually only talk about DSLRs, this is worth a mention. A high quality point and shoot is a worthwhile addition to your kit for those times an SLR isn’t practical to bring with you. Though personaly, I’d prefer something small like the ELPH (I currently use the SD500 ELPH as my P&S), the S5 IS is also attractive because of its powerful feature set which will give you a bit closer to SLR control and quality than an ELPH.
